Let our qualified staff show you how to learn skills such as navigational skills, bush art, whip cracking, poi, water safety, white water canoeing, white water rafting, or abseiling.
Why are we here?
Our goal is to deliver a creative learning process for corporate groups, private groups, families, youth groups and school groups. We strive to do this by catering for the needs of each individual and provide academic, artistic, and social aspects in each program. When dealing with children we like to bring out their imagination, promote truthful behaviour and furnish children with a feeling of responsibility in order to strengthen self-initiative and develop their overall education. Our instructors are dedicated to accept each person as they are, to teach them new skills with commitment and respect, and are enthusiastic and creative in their approach. Their qualifications range from Tafe certificates, Diplomas and University degrees but most importantly they understand why everyone should learn outdoor skills through active participation. Programs can include all or some of the following activities: Art & Craft, White Water Canoeing, Bush Walking, Initiative Games, Navigation, Teamwork, Camp Cooking, Camping, Survival Skills, Water Safety (sometimes known as River Safety), Outdoor Safety, Fauna & Flora, Whip Cracking, Poi, Wind Water & Sun Activities, and the Environment.
When you make a booking for white water canoeing on the Nymboida River or Goolang Creek with our instructors you will be provided with canoes, paddles, PFD (Personal Flotation Device) and helmets. No need to hire a canoe separately. We outsource White Water Rafting, Abseiling, an Organic Farm visit, and the Nymboida Coaching Station museum visit. Tubing on Goolang Creek is available (location Nymboida Canoe Centre) from our instructors and we can conduct tubing or boogie boarding lessons. We do not conduct low ropes, high ropes, bouldering wall or mountain bike riding activities ourselves. We may be able to outsource mountain bike riding, low ropes and high ropes activities from Exodus Outdoor Adventures located in Buccarumbi if required. Buccarumbi is a small settlement west of the Buccarumbi Ranges and south-west of Grafton. The Nymboida River and Boyd River join forces at this location.
